Let Harko use apps on your computer
Harko can click, type and press keys in apps you approve — asking in each app, and before it sends, buys, deletes or confirms anything.
Applies to: Desktop
Turn it on
- In Devices › This computer, turn on Let Harko see the screen of this computer first.
- Then turn on Let Harko use apps on this computer. On a Mac, allow Harko under System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility.
While Harko works
A bar shows Harko is using … with Stop. You can also stop it from the tray or menu bar (Stop Harko using apps) or with Ctrl+Alt+Shift+H (Mac: ⌘⌥⇧H).
Harko asks you first in each app. Permission for an app ends after 30 minutes without use, and after 4 hours at most. Harko never uses browsers (it uses Chrome through the extension instead), terminals, password managers, virtual machines or remote-desktop apps.
Approvals change while this is on
While any of your computers lets Harko use apps, approve requests in the Harko app on your phone or in Harko for desktop. The web can't approve them then; it can still decline.
On Linux with Wayland, using apps is not available yet.
