Dictate in any app
Press a shortcut, speak, and your words appear where you are typing.
Applies to: Desktop
- Click where you want the text.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+U (Mac: ⌘⇧U; Linux: Ctrl+Alt+U) and speak.
- Press the shortcut again to finish. Esc cancels.
When Let Harko use apps on this computer is on (Mac and Windows), your words are typed where you were writing. Otherwise they are copied, and Harko shows Copied — paste it. Nothing is ever typed into password fields.
Your voice
The recording goes through your Harko account to Harko's speech recognition service, which turns it into text. Harko does not keep the recording.
If Harko can't hear you on a Mac, allow it under System Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone.
