Approve what Harko does

Before Harko sends, posts, pays, shares or deletes anything, it asks you. Each request shows exactly what will happen.

Applies to: Web · Phone app · Desktop

What Harko asks about

Sending messages and email, posting publicly, uploading, changing your data, payments, sharing and deleting. Payments always ask.

On the web

  1. Open Tasks and approvals at the top of the chat and choose Needs you — or open Inbox › Approvals. In the conversation it belongs to, a bar above the message box says Harko needs your OK; choose Review.
  2. Read the card. It shows what Harko will do, with the details (for example the text of a reply, or an amount).
  3. Choose Approve — Harko goes ahead and tells you the result — or Decline. When you decline you can add a reason; Harko sees it.

Requests are decided one at a time. Some kinds can only be reviewed in the phone app; the card says so.

In the phone app

Open Inbox › Approvals and tap Approve or Reject. When notifications are on, Harko notifies you when a request is waiting; tapping the notification opens the Inbox.

When Harko is using apps on your computer

While Harko for desktop lets Harko use apps on one of your computers, approvals for your account are given in the phone app or in Harko for desktop — not on the web. Declining still works everywhere. See Let Harko use apps.

To choose what needs your OK, see Ask-first rules.
